Judo and all related martial arts activities involve inherent physical risk, including but not limited to bruising, sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, and other injuries. These risks exist regardless of the level of supervision, instruction, or facility quality.
By participating in classes, seminars, open mats, camps, or any other activity at Kami Martial Arts, I voluntarily acknowledge and accept these risks for myself, or on behalf of the minor in my care if registering as a parent or guardian.
I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in martial arts training, or that I will inform the instructor of any medical condition, injury, or physical limitation before each session.
To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law, I release and discharge Kami Martial Arts Oy, Kami Judo Tampere Ry, and their instructors, coaches, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation in activities at the club, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of the club or its representatives.
This release applies to all activities at Ahlmanintie 59, Nekala, Tampere, and at any off-site location used by Kami Martial Arts Oy or Kami Judo Tampere Ry for training, competition, or events.
By participating, I confirm that:
I agree to abide by the Kami Dojo Rules at all times, which are available at the facility and at kamimartialarts.fi. These include mat hygiene standards, respectful behaviour toward all participants, and the mandatory tapping protocol during sparring and randori. Serious or repeated violation of the dojo rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of membership.
Kami Martial Arts may photograph or film training sessions, seminars, and events for use on social media, the club website, and promotional materials. By participating, you grant consent for such use unless you have explicitly opted out in writing.
To opt out, send a written request to info@kamimartialarts.fi. Opting out does not affect your membership or participation in any way. For minors, opt-out must be requested by the parent or guardian.
Kami Martial Arts Oy processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Finnish data protection legislation. Personal data collected through membership registration, Judoliitto licence processing, and communications is used solely for membership administration, scheduling, and club communications. Data is not shared with third parties except where required for Judoliitto registration via Suomisport, or as required by law.
You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@kamimartialarts.fi. Full details are available in the Kami Martial Arts privacy policy at kamimartialarts.fi.
